Inspirations News Podcast with radio host, Mark Bergman

On April 15th in Miss Lisa Trotto and Miss Brigida’s SIS class held our very first in-school SIS Film Festival which showcased our amazing SIS students’ digital stories! The event was a smashing success and students received their awards during the ceremony and took part in a Q&A with the audience! We are so proud of their diligent work and they deserve to be celebrated! Thank you to all who attended! We partnered up with Jessie Curell (Founder and Director of Hands on Media) along with Learn Quebec to take part in the I Belong digital storytelling project! 60 schools from across Quebec participate each year and we are so excited to take part while proudly representing the special needs community. This project has allowed our students to hone their newly acquired digital media creation skills and allowed them to further explore features of film making, photography, original digital music creation using Garage Band as well as the iMovie app. Inspirations News took an interest in our project and two of our SIS students who took part in this project (Alex Ponte and Alexis Gerin-Lajoie were then interviewed by Mark Bergman!
